I had returned to school yet again, but now it was a new school, River Valley High School. It was a very interesting experience during orientation with many fun activities. However, despite the fact that we were quite busy during secondary school, we still wrote. However, we realised that although our name was D&KB Book Reviews, we only wrote pieces of writing or just short stories, which were unrelated and we were deciding whether we should change our name.
We thought about it and talked about it. I knew that even if we changed our name, the link to our website is still going to have dkbbookreviews, so we were kind of challenged to make book reviews, which I believed wouldn't work. Thus, we just changed the name of the website to D&KB Writing and edited the Declaration of Establishment. While we changed our name, nothing much changed other than that.
We were not getting much people to come to our website and it was kind of hard to sustain it and some of us kind of lost interest in writing, but I don't blame them and I agree that school is really forcing us to our limits. It was only something between 5 people excluding those occasional visits from some of our primary school friends. Thus I went on a small campaign on WhatsApp to gain some "followers". After it failed, very terribly actually, I officially, in 13 February 2021, created Team Master Writers, consisting of me, Vampoody and TheSneha as its club members. After some more "advertising" we managed to recruit another member.
Another Master Writer, being the newest addition to our team, making the final version of Team Master Writers. Steppa was quite an excellent writer also and she contributed to D&KB Writing a little.
It was quite cool especially to have most of my friends in this together. About three days later, we marked our 3 Months Anniversary, where I made a speech to thank everyone for their effort and I would like to thank you guys again for all your effort in keeping this blog lively. We had a couple of events before ending the day itself.
After a little more campaigning, we got two more subscribers who were kind of interested in our content and we were quite happy to welcome them in. Although we are now still very busy possibly with our homework and school life, this website will still be here and who knows what will be in store for us in the future. In about 1 hour time, we will hit our 6 Months Anniversary, a significant day of celebration for us.
