Motivation and How to be Happier :D

Hey guys! Yea maybe you want to share this to other people


How to become Happier?

  1. Don't think negatively, always have positive thoughts and be optimistic no matter how dire and desperate things are.

  2. DO NOT practice TOXIC POSITIVITY. While I mentioned that you should be always optimistic, it is ok to cry when you really get too stressed instead of keeping everything in while being positive

  3. Think about things that you look forward to in a day

  4. Try to talk or interact with more people in your class, family, school and maybe even in your tuition so you can make more friends

  5. Talk to your friends face to face more often so as to improve relationships with people and really be able to interact with them

  6. Help people in need (e.g. Help parents to do simple household chores; Help friends with homework by explaining the concept to them) Helping others will certainly make you feel happier

  7. Exercise more regularly so you can be fit, healthy and happy

  8. Listen to your favourite music while doing your homework or revision

  9. Encourage others and your friends to be optimistic and positive so that they can be your positive influences when you are feeling down

  10. Share your stress or some very sad issues to a trusted adult or a very trusted friend so they can listen and can comfort you, which will definitely make you feel better when you are not hiding all your issues in your heart

  11. Know yourself

  12. Practice gratitude (You may think of people you are grateful to, do some gratitude journaling or you also could appreciate that person by telling him/her directly)

  13. Give yourself a short or long break when you are really stressed and tired to rest, watch or play

  14. Learn to take criticism in a more positive way like taking it as important feedback and room for improvement

  15. Know how you are motivated and use that method to make you more motivated

  16. Reward yourself for your accomplishments or when you achieve your goals with some rest or play time

  17. Appreciate and continue to build and strengthen good relationships

  18. Try to smile everyday

  19. Recite a quote that you think inspires you the most or make up your own one and recite it in front of the mirror every morning

  20. Don't always blame yourself during very hard and painful situations or overstress


Ways to MOTIVATE yourself

Disclaimer: Different ways may work for different people

  1. Listen to Calm Music or your favourite music when you lose motivation

  2. Go sleep and rest

  3. Talk to your friends to get motivation from them

  4. Reward yourself with some play time, time to do your favourite thing or ice cream

  5. Draw out a checklist of things to do and when you finish each activity, put a tick, increases satisfaction
