So, PP on the PP is actually an abbreviation of a chess term, which actually mean Put Pressure on the Pinned Piece. If you say this to someone who doesn’t understand it, you will probably get slapped and as weird as that is, it is actually an official chess term. Well quite commonly used in its word form instead of its abbreviation so as to not offend people.
So, usually, after pinning a piece, you can apply pressure on it, which is very useful when you want to checkmate your opponent quickly or take more of their pieces. That’s it for today…
