The Rollercoaster That Kills People #shorts

In 2010, a Lithuanian artist designed the Euthanasia Coaster, which was meant to kill people. Its design is as follows:

The cars of the rollercoaster, carrying a total of 24 people, would first go up a 510-metre slope, taking a total of 2 minutes. Passengers who changed their mind during this period of time could get off at the top and go back down to the surface. (Thus, you could probably just get on for scenic views!) Remaining passengers would have to press a button, committing to the ride.

The upcoming drop would accelerate the rollercoaster cars to 360 km/h before hurtling into 7 loop-de-loops, each one being smaller than the one before. As the cars travel through the loops, passengers would experience 10 Gs of force, which is more than what people experience on even rockets! The immense force would knock you unconscious. Meanwhile, passengers would get cerebral hypoxia, have an insufficient supply of oxygen to their brains and die.

You may think that the designer of this rollercoaster was a crazy murderer, but in truth, he designed it to let terminally ill patients kill themselves (which is why it's called the Euthanasia Coaster), ending their suffering in an exciting and painless way.

The rollercoaster probably would not be able to be constructed anyway, with its 510-metre slope being taller than most skyscrapers. It was not meant to ever be built either, instead just staying as a concept and thought experiment (although a model was built).
