I believe that everyone has by now kept up with the news and likely has known about the Russo-Ukranian War that is ongoing now as Russia has started launching an offensive into its “big brother”, Ukraine. One country that is stuck in some controversy is Belarus 🇧🇾. Many sources have said that Belarus is and ally of Russia as Russia managed to build up its troops in Belarus without anyone stopping the action and has greatly helped in the offensive against Ukraine as Belarus is just above Ukraine on the world map.

Alexander Lukashenko is the current president of Belarus and has denied any involvement of Russian actions, which seems like a lie. However, there is some believed controversy behind it as USA and Japan considers imposing sanctions on the country. China has also been a big talk as the invasion continues due to its “supposed approval” of Russia’s actions, claiming it may not actually be an invasion or a war, which indeed sounds weird but there’s nothing much we can do with freedom of speech.

Despite the controversy that has been sparked through this worldwide crisis, we cannot deny that Russia invading Ukraine has definitely had serious and deadly consequences, including the many innocent lives lost from both sides. COVID-19 has had a great impact on us already and now with this world, the world may be screwed due to the economical impacts and as more countries get involve, more problems may arise.
